Admission Process
01.The application form is in PDF format and contains two pages, which should be printed on two separate A4 size sheets.
02.The application form must be duly filled in the applicant's handwriting. Please read the prospectus of the college given under "downloads category" of this webpage
03.A demand draft for Rs.300/- for UG courses and Rs. 350/- for PG courses drawn in favour of "Principal, St. Joseph's College," must accompany the completed application form. (Demand Draft is required only if you are downloading the form from the web).
04.Your Demand Draft number will be your application number. Please make a note of this number before you send your application form.
05.The completed application forms have to be returned to the college office as soon as the Pre-University course (PUC) results of Karnataka are announced. Since the official marks card will not be available at the time of submission, applicants could fill up the marks of the PUC from the internet or from the result sheet available at their respective colleges.
06.The first list will be announced within three days after the announcement of the PUC results. Only the application numbers of the selected candidates will be displayed on the college notice board.
07.Those applying for PG courses will have to undergo an entrance test, which will be announced in due course. Those with 5th semester marks of a recognised degree course with a pass percentage of 50 can apply. If found eligible, the student will get a provisional admission. The 6th semester marks must be submitted immediately after the results are announced.
08.Once the final interview is over, candidates have to pay their fees within 24 hours. The fee structure will be announced on the Notice Board at the time of admission.
09.Recommendations will disqualify the candidates of getting admission to the college. Applicants are hereby informed not to get any recommendation.
10.The college does not accept capitation or donations for admissions. You are requested to bring to the notice of the Principal/Vice-Principal/Rector any requests for donation.
11.Students who have scored high marks and appeared for Common Entrance test (CET) and are not interested in pursuing professional courses could inform the college of their desire. College will admit such students.
12.Those who have not made up their mind to join B.Sc or Professional colleges could approach the college soon after the CET results. College will admit such students later depending on the availability of seats.
