Eligibility
Eligibility criteria for admission process to be carried at institute level for vacant seats and management quota seats for First year of Engineering:
Seats available : The vacant seats with sanctioned intake.
Mahrashtra State candidates
Candiates passing HSC (standard XII) examination of Maharasthra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics & should have secured minimum 50 % marks ( 45 % for backward class candidates from Maharashtra state only ) in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics added together.
Maharashtra state candidates
Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics & should have secured minimum 50 % marks i.e 150 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 45% marks i.e. 135 marks out of 300 marks) for backward class candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only) in physics, Chemistry & Mathematics added to together
AND
Obtained non zero score in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at MHT-CET-2010 for Engineering/ Technology Degree Courses conducted by the competent authority of Government of Maharashtra for the academic year 2010-11 or obtained ranking in CET for Engineering / Technology Degree Courses conducted by Agency, if any (including Association of All Colleges of particular type in the State) approved and permitted by Pravesh Niyantran Samiti, Bandra (E), Mumbai – 400051 for the academic year 2010-11.
Candidates passing Diploma in Engineering / Technology course from Maharashtra State
Diploma holders who have passed the diploma course in Engineering / Technology with minimum of 50 % marks from the Polytechnics affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE approved autonomies Polytechnics in Mahatrashtra state.
OMS candidates
Candidates will have type candidature as “ Outside Maharashtra State” if candidate passes either SSC (standard X) or HSC (Standard XII) or both the examination from a college outside Maharashtra
Candidate passing the HSV (Standard XII) or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have secured minimum 50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together.
Candidates passing Diploma in Engineering/ Technology course form out Maharasthra State
Diploma holders who have passed minimum three years diploma course in Engineering / technology minimum of 50 % marks and medium of instruction as English from the Polytechnics outside Maharshtra State.
Admission Process
Instructions for First Year Engineering Students
Pre admission online enrolment forms on Mumbai University web site mum.digitalunivarsity.ac is mandatory for all students.
Submission of anti ragging Undertaking on Rs. 100/- stamp paper one for student and one for parent for format refer anti ragging website is mandatory for all students.
Candidate should arrange original and five attested Xerox copies as per following order
• Allotment letter downloaded from website • JEE main Score Card • S.S.C. (Std. X) Marksheet
H.S.C. (Std XII) Marksheet / Diploma Marksheet
School Leaving Certificate after passing H.S.C. (Std.XII)
Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate.
Gap Certificate this is for those candidate who have passed HSC in March 2014 OR before and presently not studying in any course / Institution.
Caste Certificate ( For SC/ST/OBC/SBC/NTB,C,D/ VJ/DT candidates )
Caste / Tribe Validity Certificate ( For SC/ST/OBC/SBC/NTB,C,D/ VJ/DT candidates
Non Creamy Layer Certificate valid upto 31st March 2016. ( for OBC/SBC/NTB,C,D/ VJ/DT candidates)
Migration Certificate ( CBSE, ICSE and other state students)
