St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) is an institute of higher education established in 1955 to mould men and women for others. The College is managed by the Gujarat Province of Society of Jesus and is affiliated to Gujarat University. The institute gives preference for socially discriminated group of students treating all humans equal as the children of God. St. Xavier's College aims in providing outstanding education in Arts,Commerce and Science with the principles of moral values for bringing out their aesthetic and social potentials. It is accredited with A (3.41) by NAAC and the UGC has granted Autonomous status in 2014.
