All India Management Association Undergraduate Aptitude Test

Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) is a standardized test being administered by AIMA annually to screen the candidates for various under graduate programs such as Integrated MBA (IMBA), BBA, BCA, BHM, B.Com, etc.
UGAT bulletin is brought out along with the UGAT form and profiles the institutes/colleges/universities accepting UGAT score for information of the candidates. It gives wide visibility of the institutes among potential candidates. The candidates are given the option to indicate any five of the participating institutes/colleges/universities. The data and score of the candidates are provided to the institutes/colleges/universities indicated by the candidates. In addition, candidates are provided individual score card, which can be produced to any institute.
Institutes / colleges / universities can decide on the cut-off score for admission or for further screening based on the number of seats available.

Syllabus for All India Management Association Undergraduate Aptitude Test (AIMA UGAT) consists of academic curriculum of 10+2 level examination and candidate who seeks admission in undergraduate level courses can study for the following topics:
A. BBA/BCA
English Language Syllabus for AIMA UGAT:- Vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, passive, nouns, adjectives, verbs and proverbs, articles direct and indirect speech, sentence formation, adverbs grammar, reading comprehension, verbal reasoning and verbal ability.
Numerical and Data Analysis Syllabus for AIMA UGAT:- Numeric calculations, linear equations, matrices, basic properties of sets and groups, scalars, vectors, coordinate systems, tensors and transformation
Reasoning and Intelligence Syllabus for AIMA UGAT:- General reasoning ability, puzzles, original and varied questions, numerical, riddle and every general and familiar thing
General Knowledge Syllabus for AIMA UGAT:- General awareness, current affairs, social development, politics, economy, foreign relations, Social issues, business related topics etc.
B. BHM
English Language:- Vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, passive, nouns, adjectives, verbs and proverbs, articles direct and indirect speech, sentence formation, adverbs grammar, reading comprehension, verbal reasoning and verbal ability.
Numerical and Data Analysis:- Numeric calculations, linear equations, matrices, basic properties of sets and groups, scalars, vectors, coordinate systems, tensors and transformation
Reasoning and Intelligence:- General reasoning ability, puzzles, original and varied questions, numerical, riddle and every general and familiar thing

Service Aptitude:- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Personality, Past Work Behaviors, Interview Guides, Certifications and Consulting Services
Scientific Aptitude:- Clarity of definition, suspended vs. snap judgment, experimental bent, discrimination of values in selecting and arranging experimental data, detection of fallacies and contradictions, reasoning, etc.
Paper Pattern
A) For IMBA, BBA and BCA Courses:
- The question papers based on multiple choice questions
- Written test consists of 130 questions in total
- For the 2 hours duration
English Language: 40 Questions
Numerical & Data Analysis: 30 Questions
Reasoning & General Intelligence: 30 Questions
General Knowledge: 30 Questions
B) For BHM Courses: Test is for 3 Hours with 2 additional test
BHM courses consists of 2 papers
- Paper-1 consists of 130 questions and paper-2 consists of 50 questions
- Question-based on multiple choices
- Paper-1 exam is for the duration of 2 hours and Paper-2 is for 1-hour duration
- Negative marking system will not be applicable for wrong answers
