Common Entrance Test ( CET ) is conducted by Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University ( GGSIPU ) The Entrance Examination is held for the purpose of admission into different Engineering, Technological and Scientific disciplines at Bachelors Degree Level Programs leading to Bachelor of Technology ( BTech ) Admission to 6 Years Dual Degree Program leading to Master of Technology ( MTech ) and Lateral Entry to Engineering Diploma holders in different BTech Programs is also offered through Common Entrance Test

Eligibility
Candidates who have passed or appearing in the 10+2 examination as per CBSE scheme as per CBSE board or its equivqlent can apply for CET in order to get admission into B. Tech. program offered by IP University. Candidates are required to secure aggregate of 60% marks in each paper seperately in the qualifying examination. English (Core/Elective/Functional) is a compulsory subject in the qualifying examination.
Candidate seeking admission into IP University must not be more than 21 years of age in the year of entrance examination and follow point to ponder to get confirm available IPU sheet .
Degree Corse Admission Criteria:
1.) The candidates who have passed degree through Distance/Open Education system of any recognized University/ Institute and fail to provide the proof of his/her study centre either in Delhi or Outside Delhi, will not at all be considered for admission in any region, e.g. Delhi Region or Outside Delhi Region.
2.) The candidate must bring in writing the certificate issued by the concerned University imparting Distance/Open Education stating clearly that the study centre of the candidate is/was in Delhi or Outside Delhi.
3.) The I-card or any other document will not be considered as proof of study centre by the Admission Officer. In case of Self Financing Colleges/Institutes, Sanctioned Intake excludes 10% Management Quota seats.
4.) However, in case of University Schools of Studies, University Maintained Institute and Govt. Institutes there will be no Management Quota.
5.) For admission in B.Tech./M.Tech.( Chemical Engg., Information Technology, Computer Science and Engg., Electronics & Communication Engg., Mechanical & Automation Engg., Power Engg., Electrical & Electronics Engg., Civil Engg. and Instrumentation & Control Engg., Tool Engg. & Environment Engg. ). The candidate must pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately.
6.) For admission in Lateral Entry to B.Tech. Programs for Diploma holders The candidate must have a three-year diploma in any of the following branches of Engg./Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Diploma awarding institute/ university/board recognized by AICTE:- Computer Engg; Automobile Engg; Chemical Engg, Civil Engg, Construction Engg, Electrical Engg, Electronics & Communication Engg, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical Engg., Maintenance Engg., Plastic Engg., Printing Technology, Production Engg., Public Health & Environmental Engg., Tool & Die Making.
7.) For admission in Lateral Entry in B.Tech for B.Sc. Graduates The candidate must be a B.Sc. Graduate with 60% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as a subject from any recognized University.
8.) For admission in B.Tech./M.Tech (Bio- Technology) The candidate must pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology.
9.) For admission to the MBBS course of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University The Candidates should pass the 12th standard under the 10+2 scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% marks for SC/ST candidates).
10.) For admission in Master of Computer Applications MCA (Software Engineering) The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
11.) For admission in Master of Mass Media, M.A.(English & Communication Studies) Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with aggregate of 50% marks is required.
12.) For admission in BBA(Computer Aided Management, Banking & Insurance, Tour & Travel Management)/ Bachelor of hotel Management & Catering Technology /Bachelor of Hotel Management& Catering Technology/ B.A LL.B / BBA LL.B ) The candidate must pass in 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
13.) For admission in BCA The candidate should pass in 10+2 of CBSE or Equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics or Computer Science/Informatics Practice/Computer Applications.
14.) For admission in Master of Public Health (FE) Candidates possessing MBBS degree from any recognized institution are eligible to apply for the course
15.) For admission in M.Sc. (Environment Management). B.Sc. Degree or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Or B.Sc. (Engg.), B.Tech. Or B.E. in Civil/Chemical/Agricultural Engg Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
16.) For admission in MBA Any recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
17.) For admission in M.Sc. (Biodiversity & Conservation) B.Sc degree or equivalent (Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Anthropology or any field of Life Sciences) with minimum 50% marks
18.) For admission in LL.M LL.B. Degree as required by the Bar Council of India for enrollment as an advocate or an equivalent law degree from a foreign university, in either case with not less than 50% marks.
