Auxilium Technical Training Centre
The institution started in 1973 as a non – formal institute. In course of time in 1975, Welding trade was affiliated to state government, Then in the subsequent years Wireman and Electrician trades were affiliated to NCVT.
For the past three years our institute has been guiding about 40 self help groups in Technological development. Our institute is also giving training to these groups in coir rope preparation, Arica nut plates preparation, paper cup production etc.
We have also set up a separate office for Technology development in our centre. The primary scope of this centre is to develop innovative instruments that are useful to the people.
As of at present the institute is very much dependent on the house for financial help. Since the salary and other expense are much high than the income that is procured. Therefore financial help from the donor agencies is much sought often.
Our institute is trying to give holistic formation to the students by way of involving them in all social activities and by way of bringing out their hidden talents. Our students are also given hands experience by giving them exposure to technological development and thus they try to produce in their own labs.
We also make sure that all our students are well employed once they complete their course. We also have an employment cell which caters to the needs of the students.
We started the past pupils association for the first time. Although the start was good, yet the association is in the Infancy stage, therefore it needs much care and attention.
We had also introduced short term courses which are very relevant to the youngsters. These courses are very much appreciated by the students. After completion of the course, depending on the need of the student we try to get bank loans for their self employment.
