Buddha Industrial Training Institute and Mata Ahilya Industrial Training Institute commenced their Endeavour in 2007 and 2008 respectively. Buddha I.T.I. and Mata Ahilya I.T.I offers state of the art vocational training in various functional areas of specialization. Buddha I.T.I. is situated at behind power grid, near police line, Nawada. Mata Ahilya I.T.I is situated at near R. Lal college, Barbigha.

A majority of Indian workforce does not possess marketable skills, which is an impediment in getting decent employment and improving their economic condition. While india has large young population, only 5% of the Indian labour force in the age group of 20-24 years has obtained vocational skills through formal means, whereas the percentage in industrialized countries varies between 60% and 96%.

The main objective of Buddha I.T.I. and Mata Ahilya I.T.I. is to enhance the percentage of skilled labour in India.
