Children Aid Society
In order to make boys and girls job worthy, the Society established its own Industrial Training Institute in 1989. The courses offered are: Wireman Fitter * Electronics ( for girls ) Each year, around 100 children, boys and girls included, undergo training in ITI. Vocational training is a major channel for upward mobility and it is a matter of pride that the alumni of our ITI have found gainful employment in reputed industries not only in India but also in foreign countries.
Owing to various socio-economic problems, a good number of institutional children do not reach the level of 10th Std. And so, they cannot get admission to ITI. In order to make them job worthy, the Society intends to offer boys short term courses such as i) Baking and Confectionery, ii) Plumbing iii) Tailoring iv) Carpentry Etc. For conducting such short term courses, financial help is needed. Details would be made available to those willing to sponsor such courses. Contact numbers and email address is given on the last page of this brochure.
