Industrial Training Institute, Ahwa-Dang is located at the rural hill and forest area under the Director of Employment and Training, Gandhinagar. A hill station Saputara located at 42 Km from Ahwa. The Dang is fully tribal area and surrounding by natural green scenery area. There are numbers of medium and small size industrial units at Vapi. Skilled manpower is one of the basic requirements for sustainable industrial growth. To fulfill the need of skilled manpower, Government of Gujarat has started Industrial Training Institute at Ahwa-Dang. This institute was established in 1977 with 4 trades and 76 sanctioned seats. It is started at near D.I.L.R Office. In the year 1982 institute is shifted to own new building. Now the institute is running in two shifts having a total intake capacity of 384 seats against which 344 trainees are undergoing training in 4 NCVT as well as 8 SCVT trades. Institute is constructed in 3911.79 Sq Mt. area inclusive of Adm Block, Workshop, Hostel Building and Staff Quarters.

The hostel building having capacity of 50 trainees and presently admitted 22 trainees and there are 1 No. of Type – I quarter for Principal, 12 Nos. of Type – II quarter for staff and 6 Nos. of Type-III quarters for Class-4 in ITI campus.
