Government Industrial Training Institute,Beed, is the institute of Marathwada region that contributes to develop the youths as a skilled/multi skilled man power required for society and industries. This Institute is affiliated to the Director General of education and training, New Delhi and run by State government of Maharashtra under Vocational educationand training department ( www.dvet.gov.in)

The Institute was established in the year 1963 as per Maharashtra Government Resolution No. TSA – 1036/36651-T Dt. 30/05/1963. Later on no. of different trades were introduced which increased the no. of trainees year by year. We have 9 hectors government land with administrative building, 2 workshops, BTRI building is available. At present the Institute has intake capacity of 548 seats / year in 20 different trades of 1 year to 3 year duration. Short term courses of 2 weeks to 3 months duration for informal sector, imparting vocational training in Beed .Since 1963 this Institute maintains a status of District ITI which is model for Marathwada Region and its journey is going on towards one of the best institute in Maharashtra. Institute is also selected as “Centre of Excellence” in the year 2008.
