Bhor is important taluka in pune district . Raja Ragunath Pandit was rular of this area in ancient time. Here is beautiful Rajwada which has plenty of doors & rooms with fine designed . Bhor is situated in hilly area of Sahyadri hill ranges. Bhor is 55 km away from pune and 75 kms from Satara . Towards the west , after hill ranges Konkan is stated and towards north satara district started. National highway no 4 i.e Pune –Banglore hihway running nearby 12 kms from Bhor.

Bhatghar Dam is built in Bhor which is supporting the rural area of Bhor Taluka .There is Hydroelectricity plant which generate about 4 megawatt power. Rice & Jawar ,is main crops of this area.

Our Industrial Training Institute is also key institute for this area. There are many Schools and collages in Bhor. D.Ed., B. Ed. , NCC regional Training Centre are in Bhor . Due to taluka place many Government offices are here to help / working for people
