The Institute was established in the year 1984 vide GR No.TSA-1084/35389/403/Tr-4 Dated 4th Aug. 1984. In the beginning there was no own building of I.T.I. It was situated in rental building of Shri. T. R. Baroka near Bodwad Railway Station. Initially we have eight trades namely Fitter, Wireman, Electrician, Motor Mechanic, Welder, Building Construction, Carpenter & D’man Civil

After some year Institute acquired his own land near Bodwad Railway Station & after completion of building we shifted in our own building on 23rd Dec. 1995.

The Institute is 5 km. away from Bus stand &1 km. from railway station. The Institute situated at Kolhadi Road near Bodwad Rly. Stn.

Institute has very rich landscape area with plenty of trees and one garden in the campus providing a nice atmosphere for training. Institute has rich Library, Audio- Visual room.
