Industrial training Institute Chikhaldara is situated in Hilly areas of Melghat 3500 Feets above the sea level and surrounded by hills and dense forest of satpura parvat. Melghat Tiger Project is famous for Tigers and other wild animals. Chikhaldara is Historical hill station of Vidharba. It is largest taluka of Amravati district. The peoples living in this sector are KORKU Adivasi and Gawali. The Adivasi peoples are educationally backward therefore they are economically weak. To upgrade their standard of living and to join them to the society, it is essential to improve their education & income sources.

This Industrial Training Institute established in 1981 by Govt. of Maharashtra. This is the first Taluka level Industrial Training Institute Specially opened for Adivasi peoples of Melghat region having 75% reservation for Tribal Students (ST).

Our Institute having 6 Acre area in which Administrative Building of 612 Sq.mtr , Workshop Building of 1754 Sq.mtr. Boys Hostel of 2090 Sq.mtr double floor and Girls Hostel of 600 Sq.mtr.

In our Institute 300 students are getting training in ten different trades of 17 units. We are having qualified and experienced staff for training and placement of students.
