Welcome to Govt. ITI, Chikmagalur. Chikmagalur is famous for coffee and hill stations and district place in Karnataka. It is about 250 km from the capital Bangalore.

The institute is situated at Tilak Park Road, Vijayapura, Chikmagalur. The institute is established in the year 1981. Since ITI has been producing highly skilled workers who are serving in local industries and in abroad also. The institute is upgraded in the year Feb-2008 under PPP scheme and this institute is administrated by DET Bangalore under the aegis of DGET New Delhi, Govt. of India.

The institute is imparting training in 3 trades under CTS (Craftsman Training Scheme). Other than these courses this institute also offers short term courses and training classes. It conducts campus interviews.
