The Institute was started in the year 1992 with intake capacity of 96 seats in six trades. At Present the institute have intake capacity of above 240 seats / year in 14 different trades of one year to two years duration.

Institute has very rich landscape area with plenty of trees and many gardens in the compound providing a nice atmosphere for training. Institute has rich Library, Audio- Visual room, Sports room, Dispensary and Hostel facility.
