The institute was started in the year Aug'1996 with intake capacity of 92 seats in six trades. At present the institute have intake capacity of 224 seats. Presently the institute is running 8 different trades of 1 year to 2 years duration under CTS. 5 courses of one year and 3 courses of 2 years durations. The BBBT COURSE IN ELECTRICAL SECTOR is of 1 year duration under COE.

Industrial Training Institute, Guhagar is serving rural area of Guhagar Taluka from more than 12 years. We are providing Skilled craftsmen to the various industries in various disciplines. Besides the CTS & ATS schemes Institute also offers various short duration training programmes under MES to meet the requirements of informal sectors, school drop outs and weaker sections of the society. We are running various schemes like VOCATIONAL TRAINING ON DEMAND for socially backward class students, LOKSEVA KENDRA scheme for unemployed youths, ARTISAN TO TECHNOCRAT SCHEME.
