Industrial Training Institute, Himmatnagar, Sabarkantha under the Directorate of Employment & Training, Gandhinagar was initially set-up in the year of 1992 the intake capacity of 64 trainees in 4 trades at Pratap Palace, Nyay Mandir , Himmatnagar (sabarkantha). At present the institute has capacity of 700 trainees in 13 trades and The Institute is running in own new Government Building.

The Institute is engaged in imparting training in scheme of NCVT, GCVT affiliated trades with the capacity of 700 trainees in 13 trades. The batches under NCVT pattern are affiliated. The institute is functioning in two shifts commencing from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Also short terms Pattern Courses like driving school, sewing machine operator (apparel park), mobile repairing, MS-Office etc. are taught in the institute. The Institute is not only engaged in training activities but also performing successful activities such as Blood Donation Camp, Apprenticeship placement, Motivation Campaign, Entrepreneurship Campaign, Campus Interview, Sports Activities, Cultural activities, Religions activities etc. Moreover English is taught to all trainees to improve their communication skill in English and to get enough knowledge of English which is necessary in future carrier for them.
