This Institute was established in 1957 with a sanctioned Capacity of 368 Seats in 12 Trades near old jail, Jamnagar. This Institute has a campus of 19 acres & building has been built in 1962. Institute since its inception introduces various trades as per the need of Industries and presently imparts training in 31 trades. Institute has a sanctioned capacity of 1460 against which 1760 trainees are under training. Institute is located in the heart of city, at the door step of S.T. depot. It is convenient for rural trainees for commuting from their village. The green campus of institute is near the Collector office & well connected with the Industrial estate.
