The Govt.I.T.I., Narsipatnam was, established in September-1996 with 5 Trades & 10 Units viz Fitter, Electronics, Electrician, Diesel Mechanic and Welder. The total number of strength of this I.T.I. is 190. This Institute is being imparting training in all the above trades and permanently affiliated to N.C.V.T.

This Institute was upgraded to Public Private Partnership. This facilitates modern machinery, class rooms with latest teaching equipment. The students will be exposed to multi skilled activities to meet the needs of industry on par with world standard. So far this institute trained nearly 700 candidates. Many of them selected in various Public and Private Organizations.

The I.T.I. buildings are under construction in wide area of 5 acres designed with modern class rooms & work shops to accommodate updated technological machinery to train students to world standards.
