The institute was started in the year 1989, with intake capacity of 124 seats in eight trades. At present the institute have intake capacity 236 seats in 15 diifferent trades of six months to two year durations 03 courses of six months duration,06 courses of One year duration ,06 courses of two year duration.

ITI OROS is a government ITI in the Sindhudurg district which gives assurance & commitment for quality services institute is also declared for upgradation in the year 2007. Institute has a very rich landscape & situated at district/head quarter in Sindhudurg & having a nice atmosphere for training.
