The institute which is affiliated to NCVT became operative in the year 1991 with approved number of trainees in five different trades. The prime intention is to train skilled working force who can be employed in Industries in the surrounding area. Padra Taluka has several industries in the field of Chemical, Glass, Pharmaceutical, and Engineering Workshops and also in Vadodara District which has many industries.
