Government Industrial Training Institute,Parbhani, is the premier institute of Marathwada region that contributes to develop the youths as a skilled/multi skilled man power required for society and industries. This Institute is affiliated to the Director General of education and training, New Delhi and run by State government of Maharashtra under Vocational education and training department ( www.dvetmaharashtra.gov.in)

Parbhani, earlier also known as “Prabhavatinagar” is one of the eight districts in the marathwada region of MaharashtraState. This entire Marathwada region a district geographical region, was a part of the erstwhile Nizam State; later a part of Hyderabad State; after recoganization of states in 1956 it became a part of the Bombay state and from 1960 on ward’s it is part of the present Maharashtra State.

The state capital Mumbai is to the west; Parbhani is well connected by road and railway track to other major towns in Maharashtra and also in the neighbouring state of Andhra Pradesh.
