Industrial Training Institute has been set -up with 232 seat of 6 Trade at G.I.D.C. Vapi in 1979. Then afterwards in the year 1987 at Ishwarnagar, Pardi the institute's own building has been occupied. This institute has the construction work of 2860 sq.mt. including Administrative Block, Workshop and Hostel building. The institute running on since last 27 years.

NCVT and GCVT pattern of trades which are 17 and 700 trainees are taking training over here. This Institute is working in 2 shifts which starts from 7.30 A.M. to 5.45 P.M. Having not only the training activity but other activities like Apprenticeship fair, Motivation campaign, Sports, Cultural activities are also conducted.

Keeping in view to provide Man-power to different industries and to be helpful to provide employment this Institute is carrying over with different Service sector courses like Chemical Sector, Apparel Park, and short term courses. More over Institute given Spoken English training to all trade trainees for improve their communication skill in English.

In the New era the world is becoming global village. Technological change is so rapid and continuous as result of globalisation. The skills, we are imparting is our institute should be of level which are acceptable to industries. Sometime it is necessary to upgrade the skill of workers and make them familiar and aware with the changing technology. One of the remedy to solve this is to start short term modular type courses at institute. It is also necessary to train the trainees as per the requirement of the industries. Industrial Training Institute, Pardi is taking the task and accept the challenge. In the near future, with the help and co-operation and participations of industries, institute will definitely be able to play vital role. It is also planned to develop the institute and training for all trades up to CoE level.
