I.T.I. PIMPRI-CHINCHWAD is started by state Govt. in August 1978, under the control of Directorate of vocational Education &Training, Maharashtra state, Mumbai . The Instittute is located on old Pune-Bombay Highway (NH-Just 25 kms from Pune city & 150 kms from Mumbai city . Industrial areas of pimpri & chinchwad are well established & also one of the best MIDC area in Asia.Industries like, Tata Motors, Bajaj auto,Force motors,Thermax,Jayahind,etc. There is also I.T. MIDC area near institute campus.
