Govt. of Maharashtra established ITI in Maharashtra for providing vocational education for the boys & girls student to get them, employment & self employment opportunities. In ITI Purander Dist-Pune is one of those fifteen ITI established in 1997. Since then, vocational education has been provided to thousands of boys & girls to become self reliant.

The Institute is situated in the heart of the Purandar Taluka on Pune Pandharpur highway .Dist-Pune itself is known for its Agriculture & cultural activities. The Institute is providing trained craftsman to the growing Industry .
