The ITI Thane Wagale Estate started its functioning since 1965. At the initial stage the institute was catering only ten trades in Mecahanical and electrical field up to 2004. In the 21st century India is making its development in Information Technology field and as hence per the directives from Govt. of India this scheme of Center of Excellence Information Technology came into existence & according to this Institute has started the courses to provide the skilled manpower of IT Sector.
