This ITI is established in Umred town 50 km from Nagpur city. Population of Umred is near about 1 lakh. This town is having background of cotton-weaving, agriculture, MIDC area, WCL mines. Emerging projects like MIHAN, Cargohub, IT park and huge industrial area like Butibori are within 35 kms. This town is connected with State highway & Narrow-gauge railway.
