The people of Gujarat being entrepreneurship by nature and hardworking business persons. Vadodara is the Main center of middle of Gujarat and Gorwa is well known place or suburb in Vadodara near heavy Industries like Reliance(IPCL), IOCL, Refinery & GSFC. Vadodara is an ancient city of Maharaja SayajiRao Gaekwad and stated at the river of Vishvamitri. Vadodara is famous for its GSFC, Refinery and IPCL industries. Now a days Vadodara is going as the one of the Model city of the Gujarat.

Initially, Industrial Training Institute was setup with intake capacity of 122 seats in 4 trades at GIT workshop Gorwa in 1984-85. Now a days the Institute is having capacity of 816 trainees in 14 trades. This Institute is located at the main road of Refinery called, Refinery road.

Adequate Facilities for the training in 14 trades under NCVT and GCVT having in take capacity of 816 Trainees are available in the Institute.

A special training program for the SC/ST students is running successfully in the trade of Steno (English) conducted by CGS scheme. Also short terms Pattern Courses like WELDING, HOUSE WIRING, ALUMINIUM FABRICATION, HOUSE KEEPING, UNDER UMMEED YOJNA CIVIL LINE courses are taught in the Institute. Also we have conducted a special training program for the IBR Welder by Thermax company under MoU between ITI and the company.

More over English is taught to all trades' trainees to improve their communication skill in and to get enough knowledge of English which is necessary for their career.

In accordance with the fastest world–wide globalization, liberalization and privatization among to train the requisite skilled manpower needed by the industries. It is humble effort of the institute to provide most sophisticated and fully acquainted technicians to the industries so that the government can fulfill the commitment and promises to create larger opportunities for young generation of the state in the coming years with the utilization of available infrastructural facilities, ultra modem machinery and highly developed tools and equipments. I have no doubt that this institute will going towards with the new incoming challenge and make a part of unemployment and also making the youth more employable and high skilled trainer by the way of super training facilities of the one of the Institute of Vadodara.
