HKE Industrial Training Centre Nimbarga
H.K.E. Society a premier education society in the northern part of Karnataka state made a bold venture to start educational institution of general, professional and vocational nature in different parts of the region to cater to the needs of people of backward area. One such example is of starting an ITI institution in Nimbarga. Nimbarga, one of the big villages in Aland Taluka, is having population of about 10,000. It is 35 km away from district HQ Gulbarga and 5km from Ghangapur road railway station.
ITI was started here in Sept. 1984 by the then President of H.K.E. Society Dr. B.G. Jawali which was inaugurated by the then central Minister Sri Veerendra Patil. The institution started with 3 trades namely Fitter, DMC, DMM grew gradually with 48 trainees and now 150 trainees receive training in different trades. 3 more trades namely Electrician, MMV and Mechanic Diesel were added in the year 1992.
