Keeping these priorities in mind, the Queens School of Design-Industrial Training Centre, has been evolved as a special Institute to provide the creative development, which an individual requires. This enhances the students towards a bright career with opportunities to take up positions as stylists, designers, pattern makers & beauticians etc. The Queens School of Design-Industrial Training Centre has opened its wings to provide the best in fashion education and training.

Indian apparel industry is on its way to the wide fashion market with an increasing number of boutiques and designer studios. The boom in garment exports continues unabated.
Garment export market today earns the highest net foreign exchange for the country by any item. Thus, the career in fashion industry helps in economic development of the nation. The fashion trade demands creativity and flair for art along with the technical know how of the industrial procedures. This in turn would bring professional competence. Interiors can look different in many ways but how they work is more important. Designing environments with the right ambience is the keyword. Basic principles, procedures, design concepts are necessary to professionally organize and carry through a creative interior design for a beginner, with accuracy and freedom.
Beauty Culture is an essential course today. Since the beginning of human history, men and women all over the world have adorned their bodies in countless ways, leaving no aspect of the body untouched. Next to food and shelter, the instinct to adorn the body has played an important role in communication. Different hairstyles, cosmetics, beads, clothing sense all of these communicate a variety of messages.
In Home Management one should understand the specific needs and preferences. With today’s busy schedules and active home owners, the day-to-day management of their homes becomes difficult. The course designed in the institution offers a study of basic household needs to experience comfort and pleasure for an uninterrupted operation of homes.
The Queens School of Design helps students form an inquisitive and dynamic educational community in which creativity, critical thinking, innovative problem solving, aesthetic understanding cross-disciplinary study, professionalism and social responsibility are explored, cultivated and promoted.
Our students are trained in professional and technical competencies, language and communication, cultural studies, business practice in the various disciplines and are motivated to explore the creative aspects of design with a balance of traditional, technological and theoretical approaches, using the latest equipment and technology in our computer facilities and studios. Opportunities for cross-disciplinary study, summer co-ops and internships enrich our student’s experience, as do community and corporate-sponsored projects.
The faculty members have distinguished backgrounds in their fields, supplemented by part-time lecturing staff drawn from industry to enhance the “real world” orientation of our teaching and research.
The curriculum was established with dual goals of excellent arts education and effective career preparation for students. Today, after one full decade, the college continues to assiduously adhere to these goals.
