Shri Arihant Rural Development Society's Industrial Training Institute Borgaon(chikkodi) was established in the year Aug. 2008 by prestigious Sahakar society of South Karnataka,Shri Arihant Rural Development Society BORGAON. The college is situated on Ichalkaranji - Chikodi Road, adjacent to several prominent educational institution. The college is housed in an imposing building with all the modern architecture and lush green lawns on its campus. Change is law of nature. In this 21st century of advanced technology updating our knowledge with the changing technology is a must in this direction. The students are provided with state of the art infrastructure facilities like well - equipped workshops and lab facilities, voluminous library, spacious lecture halls, qualified and experienced teaching and non - teaching staff, hostel facility, bank centers and playground, etc.
The Institute is successfully conducting I.T.I Trades in Two disciplines namely Engineering Craftsmen Training Schemes of Electrician And Fitter Trades, appliance repair and maintenance, CNC Programming, Surviving ,yoga and organizing PMRY Suvarna Jayanthi shahari rozghar yojana training camps. The institution is ranked as one of the premier I.T.I in Karnataka State imparting excellent technical education with all infrastructural and institutional facilities much above the norms and standards of NCVT New Delhi and DGE&T Bangalore. Our proactive Training and Placement Cell is doing extremely well. On an average about 25 companies visit for conducting campus interviews every year. The institution has a track record of 100% placements in all Trades. The college and the management is prepared to meet the future needs and as envisioned to procure equipments, technologies and other needs for the benefit of its students.
