Samparc ITC
In order to do the above different courses like welding & fabrication, electrician, armature winding, tailoring and fashion designing, basic computers and MS-CIT are conducted which are recognized by the Vocational Training Directorate, Government of Maharashtra. Apart from main courses there are short-term courses also like Plumbing, carpentry, beautician, jewellery making, soft toy making, masonry, etc are conducted by the institute.
At present, 220 students are trained in different batches. Over the last 16 years, 1620 students were trained in various trades and around 1400 are already employed with various industries. SAMPARC™ is planning to extend this facility to the children from different residential institutions from Maharashtra, therefore a hostel building of 4026 sq ft area is being renovated to accommodate around students including 50 boys and 50 girls.
Under the guidance of Mr.N.R.Joshi, VTC took good shape & did a lot of activities. The main mission of SAMPARC™ Vocational Training Centre at Malavli is to develop and enhance the skills and encourage social entrepreneurship among youth from nearby 42 villages to fight against poverty, unemployment & social insecurity.
With this view the SAMPARC™ VTC trained total 228 students this year. These students are mostly from Lonavla,Maval,Mulshi & Khed taluka. These 3 talukas comprise of about 150 villages were SAMPARC™ is constantly interacting with youth groups through its own village groups & Panchayat so that youth can get real opportunity to become skillful & can compete for employment in the industries coming under Khed & Maval Taluka.
