Whether I shall be eligible to do M.B.A from Ignou after I am enrolled as an advocate?
Yes, you will be eligible for doing MBA from IGNOU provided you qualify in the admission test.
How is Ignou's M. B. A valued in the market?
If you are looking for a job as a fresher after passing out from IGNOU, then your job opportunities could be limited. The course in IGNOU is best suitable for people who have a few years of work experience. For a fresher, getting the right opportunity could be difficult. It has got nothing to do with the MBA course from IGNOU. It is true for any correspondence and open University MBA courses. Getting an entry level job is easier if you do a full time MBA from a reputed institution which offer excellent campus placement opportunities.
But in any case, for you it could be a good idea to supplement your LLB degree with the MBA. We also suggest that you should do MBA with a specialization in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations.
Will it be better for me to do a C.S.?
CS could also be a very good option after your LLB. A CS and LLB would be a good combination to get an opportunity in the legal department of a company or in a solicitor firm dealing with company affairs.
You must have understood from our answer to the previous question, a LLB plus an MBA could lead you to a completely different career track than what a LLB plus CS could. On the basis of whatever information you have provided about yourself, it will be inappropriate for us to suggest which career track will be better for you. Success in career depends on a number of factors like your skills, abilities, interests, personality attributes and your preferences.
In general, an MBA degree from a reputed institution is one of the best qualifications to secure a comfortable career for you.
Can I do C.S. AND M.B.A. from Ignou simultaneously?
It depends on how much work load you can take. As far as the academic schedules are concerned, it is possible as IGNOU has classes only in the weekend and for CS, you can study from home. But on the other hand, both needs high amount of concentration and hard work. It is not easy to do MBA from IGNOU even if the classes are held only 2 days a week.
We hope that the information has been useful to you. If you need more information, please feel free to write to us again anytime.
