I am a student of BCA 3rd year and am in a great dilemma about the suitable PG course to pursue. I want to know whether I can do M. Tech. What is the eligibility for it? Please let me know the fees too. I would like to know about one-year PG courses that I can take up.

created: 22nd Mar 2017 Last Modified: 1st Jun 2017You cannot do M. Tech directly after BCA. You will need MCA to be eligible for M. Tech. Moreover, even if you have MCA, you must have Mathematics as a subject in your bachelor degree. It could be a good idea for you to consider Master degree courses like MCA as this will make you well qualified for an entry level job with a IT software development company or a company in related fields. If you look for short-term courses, you can opt for PGDCA from a reputed University or you can do a hi-tech course from C-DAC, Pune. The best option for you, according to us, would be a MCA.
