created: 22nd Mar 2017 Last Modified: 19th May 2017Thanks for writing into us. There are various options available to you after 10th, There are 4 steps that you can follow to reach the right career for you.
Choosing the right career vis--vis your requirements depends on lot of factors. Most critical is the suitability of your aptitude-interest-personality-values-preference profile with those required for different jobs. Then there are lot of personal factors such as to whether you can leave your hometown and work in other cities, whether the salary of a particular job may take care of your needs, whether you want to study for a large number of years, etc.
Ideally, you should make a choice by the following steps:
Step 1: Assess your true abilities, interests and personality values. You can take the help of professional career counselors or do a thorough self-analysis.
Step 2: Based on your interests make a primary list of careers to match their want to study for a large number of years, etc. requirements with your abilities, and personality values.
Step 3: Explore all the careers in your primary list. Learn about the job profiles, requirements, remuneration, prospects, how to develop your career, a typical day in the life of the professional. Interact with professionals working in the field, access information on the careers, read as much as you can on the careers, and attend career talks and seminars.
Step 4: After you have collected adequate information about the careers in your primary list, select the one, which suits you the most.
You can also take the help of professional career counselors in selecting the right career for you.
