- I am very confused as to which career I must take up, I would highly appreciate your assistance, in the matter. It would also be nice if you could direct me to some professional people who could guide me. I am convent educated, H S C passed. I have worked for a MNC, and also with a CRM co. But am not very happy.

Firstly, assess your true abilities, interests and personality. This assessment will not only give you insights into your personality with regards to your career but also reveal your interest areas and whether or not you have the aptitude required to succeed in various fields.
Secondly, develop tentative career goals with the help of professional career counsellors. Decide on a few careers which interest you and you have the personality and abilities that the careers demand. Once you have developed the tentative career goals, start exploring the careers in depth. Research into the careers with the help of information from books, web sites, newspapers, journals and magazines. Attend career talks and interact with professionals in the fields that you have chosen. Attend career related workshops and if possible work as interns in the fields that you have chosen.
Once you are through with your research and experience of the careers that you have chosen tentatively, think hard and narrow down your options to one or two. This way, the chances that you are successful in your chosen field will be high.
