Hi there, the MSc Forensics is a program uses all the principles of various branches of forensic science to interpret scientific evidences by investigatory experiments and to draw the conclusions and comparisons. Program enable students to inculcate the forensic skills to translate their theoretical knowledge in rendering the preventive steps for crimes. The eligibility for the program is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in B.Sc. (Forensic Science or Botany or Zoology or Physics or Chemistry or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Biotechnology or Medical Lab. Technology) or B.Pharm. or MBBS or BDS or BHMS or BAMS or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JAM. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)

Yes, you can definitely study Forensic Science in your M. Sc. or you can do a Fellowship in Forensic Science after your M. Sc. in Chemistry. The general eligibility required to study M. Sc. in Forensic Science is a graduation in Physical Science, Biological Science, Medical Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or Dental Science. Fellowship can be done even by people with background in Computer Science.
