The IBPS SO is a tough exam and I am preparing it without Coaching. My concepts of some subjects like data communication and networking are not so good. Through BSRB (Banking Services Recruitment Board) BSRB recruits people for clerical level positions in nationalized banks like the State Bank of India and Bank of Baroda. You need to have at least a 10+2 qualification in any stream to be eligible.
Bank Probationary Officers Either BSRB or the concerned bank directly recruit probationary officers. You need to at least a graduate in any subject to be able to get a job.
Direct recruitment of officer/ management trainee various nationalized banks like the Reserve Bank of India, State Bank of India and Bank of Baroda as well as private sector banks like HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Citibank often recruit officer/ management trainees. There are several qualifications, which you may have to become an officer/ management trainee in a bank:
MBA or equivalent degree/ diploma
MCA/ MIT/ M. Sc. in IT/ related courses
CA (Chartered Accountancy) / ICWA (Cost Accountancy) / CAIIB (Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers)
Post graduate degree in Economics/ Finance/ Business Economics/ related disciplines
Post graduation in Rural Management/ Rural Development/ related disciplines
Engineering degree
Degree in Agricultural Science
